Summary (Draft 1)

In the article “The Perils of Over-sharing in Social Networks” by Emm(2014), the author asserts that while the Internet has become an integral part of our life, we should not be revealing excessive information on social network unguardedly so as to prevent the exploitation of our information, and place ourselves in unnecessary dangers. Emm further highlights that in many occasions, we unconsciously expose related parties in danger, as we are unaware of where the threats are coming from. Emm also stresses that we should not undefended when using devices that have not experience any security breaches.
